PhatNoise and Chevy sans movies

GM was ready to introduce an all inclusive entertainment system in all four new CSV minivan replacements (Uplander, Relay, Terraza, Montana SV6) that touted it could play video games, digital music and movies. Now that 2005 rollout plan only includes the Chevrolet Uplander and excludes movies. The system is called PhatNoise and the pre-loaded package of films that was supposed to be available at launch, loaded on the system's hard drive, could not be passed by legal to obtain the rights. The system also comes with a docking station for your PC so music and games can be easily downloaded and installed into the Uplander's main system. All minivan models will get the option for the 2006 model year. PhatNoise is already available for a number of new cars for aftermarket and dealer installations.
