70,384 model year 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country minivans have been recalled to replace a faulty control on the rear liftgate. The liftgate latch could become stuck, not close properly and cause the liftgate to open when the vehicle is moving. There has been no reports of injuries or crashes, just rear hatches opening up at low speed. DaimlerChrysler looks to be the leader in this year's recall race.
