The GMC Typhoon was the SUV offspring of the Buick Grand National and GMC Syclone pickup. Using lessons learned from the legendary turbocharged V-6 that powered Buick?s last musclecar and mating that to the 4.3-liter V-6 truck engine along with the all-wheel drive system from the uber-fast Syclone, the GMC S-15 Jimmy transformed into a rocket with sub 5-second 0-60 runs.
