Maybe I'm losing it, but this seems like the most underrated, under-covered car on the show floor. The Volvo S60 R just stood out in the Volvo display, probably because of the bright Passion Red paint, though it made me stop because it really is a good-looking car. The R received some changes for the 2005 model year and the aggressive body kit that ads front and rear spoilers and side skirts to the overall package was one of them. The R is powered by the five-cylinder 2.5-liter in-line engine and puts out 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. A slick six-speed short-throw manual is available to make this quite the car. At about $40,000 with the optional sport package, it's a car I really like that I haven't heard much about. Does anyone out there have an R?
