Nothing like death to boost prices

Ah, the morbid human nature. Since John DeLorean's passing on Saturday, the Volo Auto Museum has reported brisk sales of old GTOs and increased interest in the DeLorean DMC cars so much so they felt the need to send out a press release about it. Ridiculous 60's musclecar prices just go higher; Volo reporting a 1969 GTO convertible going out the door for over $100,000. Sheesh. The museum has one of the original DeLorean Time Machines from the Back To The Future movies permanently on display. Way to exploit the man's passing!
