Mickey Thompson's accused killer to stand trial

It's hard to believe that this case is still going on. It's been almost 17 years since racing great Thompson and his wife, Trudy, were shot dead in their driveway. The accused killer, Michael Frank Goodwin, is fighting to dismiss the case. Pasadena Superior Court Judge Janice Claire Croft ruled there was "ample evidence" for Goodwin to stand trial for the two murders. Goodwin still has one more chance to dismiss the case at a March 17 hearing.
