Ford and Steve Saleen are denying the recent firings of Saleen, Inc. COO Rinch Rinke and other employees had anything to do with the number of mechanical glitches the new Ford GT has seen. Ford decided to have Saleen, known for its impressive S7 supercar and Mustang tuning, handle the build of the GT and after a seven week shutdown it seems things are back up and running — minus Rinke and the others of course. Read the AutoWeek story and there definitely seems like bad blood between the two parties.
