ESUVEE website wows us with humor, graphics

Update: USA Today reports on the new campaign as well and says the money actually comes from a 2002 lawsuit where the government sued Ford for calling its SUV's safe. So everyone thank Ford for the loveable creature to the right.

Call us stunned when we got the tip on this website. At first we thought the furry ESUVEE beast was just a clever parody by an anti-SUV activist showing the SUV as nothing more than a mindless beast. After some more digging we discovered the professional site is actually part of a national campaign for SUV safety headed up by all 50 states with the attorneys general of Florida, Iowa, Connecticut and Vermont on the executive council of the $27 million effort. Supposedly the ESUVEE beast will travel the country espousing SUV safety to the masses.
