Rearlifted 7 Series pops up online

Update: Our tipster sent us a better link to images of the new 7 Series. Seen here. The rear end still doesn't do anything for me and if they're going to extend the taillamps they should extend them evenly. The front has also been revised although I like the more aggressive take of the previous model a bit better. All new engines besides the V12 will see more hp too.

Sometimes the official sites beat everyone else to the punch. BMW.com has images of the newly refreshened 7 series. The little movie clip shows this brief glimpse of the redone rear shown above. We can only see added taillights that spread across the trunk lid and a chrome bar that stretches farther across. It remains to be seen if this will dramatically alter the look enough to attract more buyers.
