2006 Honda Ridgeline" hspace="0" src="http://www.weblogsinc.com/common/images/8816036481413447.JPG?0.6007660293779593" width="425" align="top" vspace="4" border="1" />
In what I still see as a risky move, Honda unveiled their entry into the truck world with a bunch of real, live Ridgelines. This not only meant it was easier for all of us journos to actually get in one of these suckers but that I can file faster too. I guess it makes things easier when you only have one model to unveil and it's ready for production. I'm almost ready to take back all those negative comments I made about the Ridgeline. It could actually work.
Inside the quality is about par with a CR-V. It is nothing luxurious that?s for sure. That could keep the price down. And to me that?s the biggest obstacle for Honda. If they can make this affordable more people will consider it as an SUV alternative (it does still have four doors). But price it too high and the novelty will wear off faster than some of the cologne of the overseas journalists that are here. Looks?well boring never hurt Honda before so big and boring shouldn?t have any impact.
