Appears to be a more flowing design than the current gen. I just don't get the '80's cheepo bumpers. Makes the car look bottom bin, scratched and dented. Maybe it's to beat those people who stick their own on, all crooked, allowing them to parallel park and make it all right to hit your car. The 2006 Rio is bigger and more powerful than the current model and has six standard air bags. In a car this small that should approve it to be a floatation device if ever needed.
