The first auto show coverage you'll see here on Autoblog is not going to be Detroit, but The Greater Los Angeles Auto Show. Since these two show "compete" per se, LA is trying to differentiate themselves by giving a theme to the show, "Design Los Angeles". "The Ultimate LA Machine" design challenge is why the odd Hyundai NTT was designed. All automaker's Southern California design studios were offered the challenge to build the ultimate car for Los Angeles life. It will be interesting to see what will pop up.
Other things of note for LA: Impala and Monte Carlo redesign, G6 coupe and convertible, Jetta, Boxster, HHR, Audi A3 & A4, Mustang convertible and the CLS 55 AMG. So as we talk Detroit up, I didn't want to forget LA.
