OK I'm guessing this wasn't personalized and about a few hundred other automotive journalists received similar packages this week, but still it was neat to get a little something hyping the new Eclipse in my mailbox yesterday. We don't accept gifts here for the most part but there's no point in returning a $.99 Hot Wheels version of the Eclipse concept car to be shown at this year's auto shows. What I found more interesting was the postcard inside (shown above). I think everyone who freaked out because of the horrible sketch from yesterday, will be reassured by the silhouette of orange here. In case you can't read the text below the car it says, "The name hasn't changed, the soul is the same, but everything else has been pushed to the next level." Unoriginal, but it's better than zoom-zoom.
