ASC will show off what they call (you ready for this?) the world's first bi-directional, infinitely adjustable convertible top system for SUV's. The sketch that was provided is showing off the system on a Jeep Liberty, and since the concept is called "Freedom" I guess it makes sense. The system uses folding fabric panels that create a "wide open" driving experience for SUV owners. No word on structural enhancements/ weight gain due to the system. ASC will be touting five complete new vehicles at the Auto Show this year. ASC currently is sub-assembling parts of the SSR for GM and were the masterminds behind the folding hardtop.
