Dukes of Hazard update: same old General Lee

MTV has posted pictures from the set of the Dukes of Hazard remake. I know you think we're just covering this for gratuitous shots of Jessica Simpson in those shorts but like Starsky and Hutch, the Dukes of Hazard was one of those TV shows that introduced a lot of us to reckless driving and muscle cars. It seems with the casting the movie folks are really going for crass humor while the show was so family friendly, clean and downhome feeling. But in 2005 if you made a movie like that you'd be laughed out of Hollywood. And does anyone else think Johnny Knoxville is out of place? Actually Stifler (does anyone call this guy by his real name?) isn't as bad as I thought and the casting of Simpson, Burt Reynolds as Boss Hogg and Willie Nelson as Jessie isn't that bad. Guess we'll have to see. Oh and does anyone else loathe Sway?
