From the "last ditch effort" file comes GM's newest marketing program, the Red Tag Sale. Starting Friday Dec. 10, Chevrolet, Pontiac, GMC, Buick and Hummer dealers will display a red tag on all new cars with the lowest price the dealers will accept for the car. On the opposite side of the tag will be the lowest lease price. GMAC will offer bonus cash to anyone that uses its finance services of up to $2,000 on top of current incentives. I say GM should just start giving the cars away for free. I'll take a leftover GTO in a 6-speed please. (and yes I know I spent way too much time creating that graphic)
