Well, I really wouldn't call it "wasting" time, because you'll learn a lot. If you happen to be a fan of all things old American iron, then The Old Car Manual Project (tocmp.com) website is a place for you. A bunch of guys came together to create an online- library to house hard-to-find technical manuals, owners manuals, newsprint and TV ads. They accept scans from your collection to add to their collection in order to share with others. There is plenty of history already scanned in, and hopefully the collection will grow to help us classic buffs out and keep history alive.
