Remember that movie The Italian Job? You know, the one that looked horrible in every preview because Edward Norton was working with Mark Wahlberg on screen? And then somehow the cruel twist of fate threw in amazing chase scenes with the then new Mini Cooper and the movie became a great success? Well if not, my quizzical refresher should have jogged your memory. Now the movie studio is cashing in on those chase scenes for a ride at Paramount Canada's Wonderland in Toronto. I didn't even know Canada had theme parks but apparently at Wonderland you can get on "The Italian Job Stunt Track" ride and sit behind the wheel of a Mini Cooper S as it screams along in a simulated fashion. Maybe I'm just cynical but I prefer a giant screaming roller coaster and then going home "stunt" driving my own car.
