The fine folks at Newsweek feature Bill Ford in their latest issue. The piece lacks some focus as it describes Ford trying to bring his namesake company back to the forefront of green technology that he promised when he took over back in the late 20th century. That may seem like eons ago as Toyota is now the forerunner of clean cars but the article doesn't mention that there are many emission friendly Ford vehicles out there even if the mileage indicator isn't so hot. Although the new Ford Five Hundred gets near identical mileage to the Toyota Avalon, folks still think Ford isn't trying hard enough. It must be all those Excursions they see on the road and not the green factory Ford recently built.
