While we anxiously await the Mazdaspeed6 here in the states, Graeme Fletcher gets a test over in Okayama, Japan. Some enlightenment in the review includes a 50% stiffer body over the base 6, add firmer dampening and stiffer springs and Graeme gets some real Gs underfoot. He also gives high praise to the 274 horsepower turbo engine and adjustable AWD. Best quote and mental image generated because of it "The system also has an interesting twist — whenever the parking brake is applied at speed, all the power is sent to the front wheels. This allows the driver to pull a handbrake turn without tying the system up in knots." OK I admit it I can't wait.
