The Essen Motorshow is Germany's version of SEMA. It used to be a sedate (surprise for Germany) exhibition but these days it rivals the Las Vegas show for flashy presentations. This Lambo-door fitted Volkswagen GTi is just one example of the extreme tuning going on. Most of the show is dedicated to the Germans' smaller models like the new generation GTi, BMW 1 Series and Audi A3. But everything from new Porsche 911s to Volvos are on display as well.
