The big talking Bill Ford says that both Ford Europe and the Premier Automotive Group (that includes Jaguar, Volvo, Land Rover) will make money in 2005. That's a bold statement my friend since the two divisions will be lucky to not lose money in 2004. While I can see Volvo and Land Rover doing well with their new models, the struggling Jaguar has done little to revamp its line-up. Ford Europe also has a good chance to do well with the new Focus on the market. So it seems a lot rests in the Jaguar camp. If Land Rover can make a winner with the LR3 I think the next challenge is to make a contender out of the X-Type.
