Now here's a world record you don't see broken everyday. A man and woman in a stolen BMW were pursued by Australian police for over 600 kilometers (372 miles) between Adelaide and Perth; across southwest Australia. Now that is a record to be proud of. That is, if you were the one being pursued. To stop the fleeing duo, police had to alert petrol stations (gas stations for us Americans) in their path to close down so they could not refuel. Eventually, the BMW ran out of gas and the couple was arrested. So let me get this straight, the BMW was so far ahead of police they were actually worried about the couple stopping to refuel?
