Ask Autoblog: Best Minivan Value

In our continuing pursuit of debate and information we ask: What is the best minivan you can buy for the money? Obviously with Minivans performance is nowhere near as important as utility, space and value. Edmunds did a round up of top Suvs for the 2004 model year but 2005s are already on the Market. I'd immediately look at the runner-up in Edmunds test, the 2004 Honda Odyssey. Yes, the new 2005 Odyssey is out now but there are still plenty of 2004s available. This is probably the only "must get immediately" vehicle since Hondas don't stay on lots long and expect some deals to be offered. But the general consensus is you can't go wrong with the Toyota Sienna. And it seems the American manufacturers can't compete with the imports. Both Ford and Chrysler's latest don't hold up when put side by side with the Honda and Toyota. Too bad since it's a segment they created. There are currently no rebates available on any minivans that we could find online but most brands are offering super low financing, some at 0% including the almost fun Mazda MPV, Pontiac Montana, Kia Sedona, GMC Savana & Safari, Ford Freestar. Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Caravan and others.
