Infiniti's new M series to get that Chanel new car smell

It seems Japanese luxury company Infiniti is unsure of itself when it comes to selling cars over $40,000. So they're seeking out help from makers of other luxury products like Chanel perfume. I'm not quite sure why Infiniti needs outside help when their other products like the G35 are fantastic. Just because the M series will be $10,000 more doesn't really necessitate all this consulting work. If they were building a Phaeton like vehicle than I'd tell them to start worrying.
