Although The Car Connection is a pretty reliable source, their new spy shots of the supposed R32 successor are juxtaposed with information that doesn't seem make sense to me. They mention the 4Motion AWD and six-speed transmission, but also claim the next-gen R will be powered by a 3.2 liter V6 making 250-hp. So it will use an engine of the exact same size as the one it presently employs, but making 10 more horsepower? Boy, what an improvement. There's a snapshot of the ass-end of the car being flung around the Nürburgring as well, which betrays four asymetrically-placed tailpipes. An R36 is reportedly being developed as well, set to appear in Europe in 2007 (and the US in 2746) with 280-hp.
