When the Datsun 240Z broke onto the scene in 1970, it tore up the sports car landscape and changed the motoring public's perception on both affordable performance and Japanese vehicles. In 2005 Nissan will celebrate the Z's 35th anniversary with an extra-lovely 350Z. Special equipment will consist of Brembo brakes, new spoiler appointments, two-tone leather buckets, big ol' wheels, a choice of three exterior colors including the new Ultra Yellow seen here, and a higher but as yet undetermined amount of power. Most likely the engine will benefit from massaging by Nissan tuner Nismo, and I've heard the horsepower figures 300 and 315 tossed about recently. The car will debut at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas in November. It will be enhancing Nissan showrooms everywhere in January.
