Dear Ford:
We really like all the advance press on the new European Ford Focus. The design is actually forward thinking, looks much better than Chevy's Cobalt, and we're ready for this new platform. It sounds like our friends across the pond think this new Focus will easily be the best selling car on that continent, just like the old one was. Why don't you think Americans would respond the same way? Do you think we wouldn't want to pay for the extra benefits of a new and improved Focus? I think if a car buyer walked into a Ford dealer to check out the new Mustang, wakes up and realizes they can't afford it or justify the purchase they'll look over at the "new" Focus and keep walking. If they saw the European Ford Focus in the showroom they might take a seat inside. Just an observation.
