Chrysler watches blogs for buzz

In an otherwise innocuous story about marketing and designing the new 300 sedan Chrysler executive Jeff Bell said "We do a lot of monitoring of blogs (short for Web logs, or Internet diaries) and of chat rooms, of discussion boards." Hmmm. Does that mean folks from the Big 3 are watching us right now? Bell goes on to say excitement for a model like the 300 can begin at a grass roots level through message boards and blogs. We'll let you all know when to start buzzing with excitement for the next hot model don't worry.
