Corvette ad directed by Guy Ritchie to air during Olympics

We reported on how Chevy would be inundating the Olympics with ads yesterday. But word just came over from CNN/Money that a new 60-second commercial to be aired during the Olympics for the all new Corvette will be directed by Guy Ritchie. If anyone saw the video he directed for wife Madonna and her crashing a muscle car, I believe it was a Mustang, repeatedly with grandma in the passenger seat we can only imagine what his "schoolboy daydream of a magical ride" in the Corvette turns out to be like. And also in the story GM does not hide the fact that they hope to top Ford as the top American automaker with their fall onslaught of new vehicles, while Ford is preparing only three new models for fall release. I suspect because one of those is called Mustang and it will probably sell "well," this will be a close race.
