Former WRC superstar Colin McRae's terrific performance in this year's Paris-Dakar Rally has led to at least another one-year commitment to the Nissan Rally Raid Team. This year he will be actively involved in the development of the NRRT pickup, based on a Nissan single-cab 4x4, and may warm up in the United Arab Emirates Desert Challenge come October. This year's Dakar will begin in Barcelona and cover 7000 arduous, unforgiving, cruel miles of dusty torture across Morocco, Mauritania and Mali before finally halting the seemingly ceaseless completely exhausting and debilitating punishment in the Senegalese capital.
