The folks in the Primedia group (they own almost every car mag you know of, including Motor Trend, Super Street etc.) have a very cool web site for their new charity competition. The site is jam packed with info as the guys (very male centric contest) get started with the project cars. I think Motor Trend is off to a good start because they got a VW GTI already in the project process. I just can't believe they spent $10K on it. All (or almost all) the parts for the contest have to be bought through eBay Motors. We'll keep tabs on this and see who has the best chance through all the stages.
