Consumer Reports names Mazda 3 top small sedan

We love the Mazda3, most enthusiast magazines love the Mazda3 and now the dependable folks at Consumer Reports love the Mazda3 as well. Straight from their press release: "Overall, the Mazda3 is a high-quality car with acceleration and interior quality that's on par with many midsized sedans," said David Champion, senior director of Consumer Reports' Auto Test facility in East Haddam, Connecticut. "The Mazda3 is quieter, rides more comfortably, and is more agile and fuel-efficient than its predecessor, the Protegé."

The article is featured in the magazine's August issue. The Mazda3 unseats the Honda Civic, which has won the honor for the past three years.
