Fast-auto.net shows some decent pictures of two remarkable Golfs including HPA's new Stage II R32. I enjoyed the newly imported R32 immensely as a car that offers all the racer thrills while still retaining some civility. The looks of the Stage II don't stray too far from the original and that's a good thing. The noticeable difference seems to be underneath the hood. Dual turbochargers, shown here, are added to the normally aspirated V-6 to churn out a whopping 550-hp. How much do all those horses cost? About $55,000, or roughly twice of what a R32 runs. But for 0-60 in 3.2 seconds it's almost worth it.
