Honda Accord Hybrid: have we met before?

Honda's gas-electric hybrid Accord will look like the above picture released by the automaker, keeping with the "zero distinguishing aesthetic features" theme employed by the Civic Hybrid. Apparently, the 2005 model will be a V6 hybrid that will outperform the 240-hp gasoline engine available for the current Accord and yet get four-cylinder-esque fuel economy. The Accord will also benefit from Variable Cylinder Management, allowing the engine to run off three cylinders to conserve even more fuel. The Accord Hybrid will be out and saving the world this fall.
