So you know how Mini equips its cars with those awesome panoramic sunroofs? And you know how if you get a Mini with a white roof, there's a giant slab of black tinted glass in the middle of it, sullying the gorgeous simplicity of it all? Well, starting in 2005, there shall be no more sullying, as Mini has developed a sunroof with a top layer composed of white frosted glass, similar to the translucent material used for iMacs. To accompany the well-blended roof is a real sunroof headliner (no longer just a mesh screen) to keep light and the attending heat from turning the cabin into a Turkish bath. Not that Turkish baths are bad. They're just…well quite hot in fact.
