Lincoln's most compact and sport-oriented sedan yet, the Zephyr, comes to market late next year with designs on swaying more youthful customers. It breaks from the Lincoln tradition by offering front-wheel and all-wheel-drive layouts, and the engine will be a 3.0-liter V6. Fully independent suspension will provide cornering ability as well as the comfy ride for which Lincoln has long been reknowned. In terms of visuals, the Zephyr displays a wide stance, the requisite oversized wheels, and an "expressive" interior treatment meant to make its more clinical-looking rivals seem staid and dry and boring and uninspired and sad in comparison.
