Everyone can now add Beijing to the annual onslaught of car shows right up there with Detroit, Geneva & Chicago. This first look at the next generation Focus just came over the wire from the Detroit News. The car was announced in China today as part of Auto China 2004, the country's largest auto show. The bummer is this cool looking Focus is meant for the international market and won't make it to the U.S. until 2007. If it resembles the Volvo S40 and Mazda 3 that's because it will share the same platform as those two phenomenal rides. It actually looks like a smaller Audi A4 more than anything though. Come on Ford hurry up and revamp the current U.S. Focus that is woefully out of date.
