    1391124780

Every year when we start talking about which automaker is the biggest in the world, there always seems to be at least a little bit of controversy. For 2013, Toyota handily took the top spot with 9.98 million sales, but it's the runner up spot between General Motors and Volkswagen that is starting to create a stir. Based on our earlier report, GM's 9.71 ...

Video: VW puts on Wings for its big Super Bowl spot
    1390939140

Volkswagen is a Super Bowl commercial veteran, having paid a king's ransom for air time five years in a row now, and producing what was arguably the best ad of the game back in 2011 with The Force. Since then, however, the German brand hasn't quite risen to the same levels of giggle-inducing creativity. It's back, however, for Super Bowl XLVIII with a new ...

    1390903200

In America, Volkswagen's offerings don't get any smaller than the Golf (or Beetle, really). Three cheers for the handbrake. For driving enthusiasts who live in climates where the winter months produce seemingly endless days of snowy, icy conditions, nothing cures the seasonal blues quite like finding yourself on an empty road, pulling the handbrake, halting the rear wheels and happily drifting around a turn. Hooligans, we are. And it's all great ...
