BMW looks to be on something of a name-grabbing spree. The German automaker has reportedly trademarked a number of new vehicle names, including 2 Series, X2, M7 and M10 among others. Of course, just because a manufacturer lays claim to a name doesn't mean there's a production model around the bend, but the monikers at least give us an idea of what's being thrown around conference tables in Munich. We're less than a month away from the official unveiling of the BMW X1 concept in Paris, but the boys from Bavaria are already planning a sportier, two-door version of their new compact 'ute. Dubbed the X2, this coupe-ish soft-roader will be to the X1 what the X6 is to the X5.

Earlier this month, Segway Inc., debuted its two Personal Transporters (PT), the versatile i2 (pictured) and the all-terrain x2. Both are equipped with "LeanSteer" which allows the driver to direct the electric vehicle just by simply leaning in the desired direction. Previously, drivers could only control backward and forward movement.
