Volkswagen Up! ad

Volkswagen is nearly ready to reveal the production version of its forthcoming Up! ultra-compact. We're hearing rumors that the diminutive cruiser is slated to meet the world towards the end of August, in Paris. After that, VW will bring the car to the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show for a proper press introduction.

The German automaker is looking to prime the pump of public appeal, and has released a brief ad to get you excited about its newest family member. The spot doesn't show you the car, instead opting to try and convey the feeling Volkswagen hopes you'll get when driving the Up!. Check out the new spot by clicking past the jump.
