We found that Autoblog readers have a passionate disdain for what we declared the "Ugliest. Mustang. Ever." Some of our favorite comments:

"God kills a kitten every time somebody ruins a perfectly fine automobile like this."

"Nah, this is a prop for Michael Bay's new movie... "Transformers: Beast Machines". Just like the cartoon, the Autobots transform into animals. If you squint you can see that the hood scoops form the rear cheeks of the baboon 'bot, Assimus Prime."

"Looks like that pony's got rabies."

A member of Mustangforums.com even issued this Mustang a rice citation.

Well things just keep getting better (or worse, depending on how you look at it). We found out that you can actually buy your own version of this monstrosity. That means that it wasn't built as some sort of sick joke, as some had hoped. The brochure we picked up at the booth says that they will be available for purchase after SEMA. We were walking through the endless booths and displays at SEMA and happened to come upon this unfortunate mess of a Mustang. We don't know exactly what this pony did to deserve the hideous fake scoops, the ridiculously bad chrome wheels and trim, or the over-sized front spoiler and wing, but this thing has been beaten with the ugly stick so badly that it's hardly recognizable as the Mustang we know and love. It looks like a reject from Joel Schumacher's ugly Bat Man movie car collection. If you're the kind of person who loves looking at gruesome stuff, check out the gallery for some more pictures.
