For an encore, try this: the Gemballa Tornado 750 GTS/4. Based on a Porsche Cayenne Turbo, the German tuner adds new headlights and a night vision system, more of that widebody-and-vents thing, with LEDs hidden in the vents ahead of the front wheels. The inside is bathed in leather, Alcantara, and carbon, and the rear bench is bisected by a center console. The package is lowered on 22-inch wheels and is powered by a 750-horsepower engine.<br /> <br /> If you want to turn the volume on your tuned Cayenne down a bit, then try the Gemballa GT 500 Aero 3, which wears less ostentatious aero lowered over 22-inch wheels, a new exhaust, and a revised interior. <br /> <br /> Both SUVs are slightly tweaked and repainted versions of the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/04/23/gemballa-tornado-750-gts-ready-to-eat-your-young-and-your-pock/">Tornado 750 GTS </a>and <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2005/04/22/gemballa-gt-600-aero-3-design-bicolor/">GT 500 Aero 3</a> that Gemballa released earlier this year. You can have a look at both in the gallery of high-res photos below.<br /> <br /> <br /> <div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/gemballa-tornado-gts-4/low/">Gemballa Tornado 750 GTS / 4</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/gemballa-tornado-gts-4/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/12/01_gemballa_tornado_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/gemballa-tornado-gts-4/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/12/02_gemballa_tornado_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/gemballa-tornado-gts-4/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/12/03_gemballa_tornado_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/gemballa-tornado-gts-4/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/12/04_gemballa_tornado_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/gemballa-tornado-gts-4/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/12/05_gemballa_tornado_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /> <div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/gemballa-gt-500-aero-3/low/">Gemballa GT 500 Aero 3</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/gemballa-gt-500-aero-3/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/12/01_gemballa_gt500aero_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/gemballa-gt-500-aero-3/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/12/02_gemballa_gt500aero_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/gemballa-gt-500-aero-3/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/12/03_gemballa_gt500aero_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/gemballa-gt-500-aero-3/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/12/04_gemballa_gt500aero_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/gemballa-gt-500-aero-3/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/12/05_gemballa_gt500aero_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /> [Source: <a href="http://www.gemballa.com/CarVariante_249">Gemballa</a>]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/12/22/tornados-touch-down-gemballa-releases-another-pair-of-tuned-por/">Tornados Touch Down: Gemballa releases another pair of tuned Porsche Cayennes</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Tue, 22 Dec 2009 12:58:00 EST. <div style="text-align: center;"><em><strong><small>Ferrari Enzo MIG-UI by Gemballa -- Click above for image gallery</small></strong></em></div>
<br />
The black and white menace you see above was created for Gemballa's Middle East distributor, the Illyas and Mustafa Galadari Group, using Mustafa's personal Enzo as the subject. The roof scoop, jet-thruster-surrounds for the exhaust, and black rims are Gemballa hallmarks, on top of which the nose has been slightly sculpted and the hood sports a central scoop.<br />
<br />
The widebody treatment has given Gemballa room to add new elements, like the vents up front and behind the wheels, the gills on the fenders, and stolen-from-a-Subie rear wing. Other Enzo features, like the side vents, have merely been massaged. The paint scheme, a far cry from the Middle East's <em>de rigueur</em> gold or chrome, is nothing short of arresting -- make of that what you will. We don't mind it.<br />
<br />
The inside is rather subdued, comparatively speaking: black and quilted red leather, trimmed in red stitching and piping. We don't know anything else about the car at the moment -- seems the proud owners are holding back until it's officially rolled out, debutante style, to a waiting Dubai public. If anyone makes it to the unveiling, please let us know if it comes with a set of Imperial armor and an E-11 blaster...<br />

<div style="text-align: center;"><em><strong><small>Cargraphic Airlift Audi R8 -- Click above for high-res image gallery</small></strong></em></div>
<br />
The <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/model/r8">Audi R8</a> is undoubtedly awesome. It is also undoubtedly low, as in to the ground. Not low enough to prevent you from getting around, but you pay close attention anytime the word "driveway" comes up. Cargraphic has engineered an airlift system to address the issue that can raise the car 72 mm (2.8 inches) in 15 seconds. The best part about it is that it doesn't alter the dynamic performance of the car's suspension.<br />
<br />
The airlift places small bellows on the upper spring cup of the suspension. When the bellows aren't inflated, the mounting point is rigid, so the suspension responds as normal. With the compressor, the total weight is just 3 kilos, and there are no hydraulics or fluid to deal with. And the system comes with a remote control, in case you want to show off your additional three inches when you're not in the car. Full details are in the press release after the jump, and in the gallery of high-res images below.<br />

<br /> Since we're getting close to the time frame seen in the movie <em>Demolition Man,</em> you might want to start shopping for a car that can prepare you for Stallone and Snipes blasting it out in the streets. Irish tuning house <a href="http://onyxcars.ie/">Onyx</a> could have what you seek with its new 2010 <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/model/range+rover+sport">Range Rover Sport</a> and <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/range+rover">Range Rover</a> Vogue conversions. Inside are buffalo hides and carbon fiber, and outside are a ring of bluff skirting, along with LEDs on the Vogue and, naturally, 22-inch TPM wheels. <br /> <br /> Some under-the-hood work has also been done, adding an impressive 80 horsepower to the already <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/06/video-what-a-difference-a-year-makes-range-rover-sport-superch/">very quick Supercharged model's 517 horsepower</a>. <br />
</small></em></strong></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">In certain circles, the 911 4S is considered the Porsche to get. You got your high-output S motor, the security of all the wheels being driven, a curvaceous (if not swollen) rear end, all the luxuries of home (especially if you tick off "leather air vents" on the options list) but without the crippling price of the Turbo or punishing ride/packaging of the GT3. Obviously, lots of folks feel differently, but if you're going to go down the 4S road, you might want to stop off and pay a visit to TechArt.<br />
<br />
The "why" is that using some absolutely gorgeous piping, TechArt has found a way to squeeze 35 more horseponies out of the Carrera 4S's 3.8-liter flat-six, raising the total from 385 to 420. Which is as much power as the original 996 Turbo made. Which, we need not remind you, passed for a supercar just a few short years ago. And the 997 iteration of the 4S weighs about one hundred pounds less than the old Turbo.<br />
<br />
But you can't just give the people more power and call it a day. With that maxim in mind, TechArt has gone ahead and crafted up a nice body kit for its 4S. There's a little lip spoiler, some twisted sills and a tastefully done spoiler. Actually, that spoiler does more than just look good - it's got a Gurney flap! That means it's adjustable. TechArt also fussed around with the suspension, crafted some forged light-alloy wheels and even gave the interior a once over, adding better leather and aluminum pedals. You can find all of the details in the press release <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/11/11/techart-squeezes-more-power-out-of-porsche-911-carrera-4s/">after the jump</a>. But before than doing that, may we suggest you just trip out on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/gallery/techart-porsche-carrera-4s/#5">this</a> for a while?<br />

<em><strong><small>Lumma Design CLR 730 RS - Click above for high-res image gallery</small></strong></em></div>
<br />
<a href="http://www.autoblog.com/gallery/lumma-design-clr-730-rs/#19"><img hspace="0" vspace="4" align="right" border="1" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/11/lummadesignclr730rs_-250.jpg" class="right border" alt="" /></a>With its latest creation, the CLR 730 RS, it seems that <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/Lumma+Design/">Lumma Design</a> is making a play for the title of Europe's most garish tuner. However, this two-tone widebody BMW M5 is actually subtle compared to previous <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/01/30/tuner-tuesday-lumma-designs-560hp-clr-m5/">Lumma Design models</a>, and we think the title still firmly remains with <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/Mansory/">Mansory</a>. <br />
<br />
So what's special about the CLR 730 RS? For starters, 730 horsepower. The 50% increase in chutzpah comes from a set of twin-superchargers courtesy of <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/12/22/g-power-takes-4-door-sedan-top-speed-record-with-m5-hurricane-rs/">G-Power</a>, and Lumma Design claims an impressive top speed of 228 mph. Additional performance upgrades come in the form of a sport suspension, six-piston front and four-piston rear brakes, and an upgraded exhaust system.<br />
<br />
The candy cane interior of the CLR 730 RS is even more over-the-top than the outside, with a combination of carbon fiber, leather, and suede. It's not really our style, but we would probably be more accepting of it in a more subtle color. We have plenty of high-res photos in the gallery below, and Lumma Design's press release has full details after the jump.<br />

Those of you well heeled Halo players looking for an upmarket version of the Warthog, here you are: the Expression Motorsport ML63 AMG. Hailing from Belgium, the gents at Expression planned to "differentiate this ML from those of a more traditional variety," and to that we say, "Mission Accomplished!"<br />
<br />
Things get a bit tricky up front with a snowplow masquerading as a front air dam, then Lorinser-esque around the front wheels, and just plain thick and juicy in back. Speaking of wheels, we will give Expression credit where it's due: nice wheels, guys. To check out the rest of the kit, look no further than the gallery of high-res photos below.<br />

<br />
Even though last year's <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/SEMA/">SEMA</a> was ostensibly represented by the Camaro, it was Dodge Challenger City in the halls. To make sure the Challenger doesn't come up lame a year later, Speedfactory has taken a 2009 SRT8 Charger with a 6.1-liter Hemi aluminum block, bored that block out to 7.1-liters (440 cu. in.) and, among other tweaks, pasted a Vortech V3 centrifugal supercharger on top. The result is 700 horses when provided with 91 octane to drink.<br />
<br />
To handle the boosted grunt Speedfactory has made a number of other modifications, including the installation of a Mopar Performance NAG 1 transmission and Getrag IRS with 1000 HP half-shafts. You can read get all the details in the release after the break and check out the Challenger in the high-res images below.<br />

<div style="text-align: center;"><em><strong><small>Inden Design SL -- Click above for image gallery</small></strong></em></div>
<br /> The Inden Design SL will turn your ordinary aging SL 500 into a previous-gen SL65 AMG lookalike and then some. The firm installs fascias front and rear and exhaust pipes that mimic the SL65, then the whole body is given the blackout treatment right down to the door handles. And could we even call it German tuning if it didn't get a set of custom 20-inch wheels tucked fender-deep on Pirelli rubber bands?<br /> <br /> Interior bits get some varnish, the SL65 steering wheel makes an appearance, and to combat that ridiculous ride height an adjustable suspension module is installed to provide 50mm of vertical movement. The engine, however, only gets a 15-hp upgrade to 330 horsepower. So if you see any real SL65 AMGs, you'll probably want to keep looking straight ahead.<br /> <br /> You can read about all the mods in the press release after the jump, and check it out in the gallery of photos below.<br /> <br /> <br /> <div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/inden-design-sl500/low/">Inden Design SL500</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/inden-design-sl500/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/10/02_inden_sl_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/inden-design-sl500/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/10/03_inden_sl_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/inden-design-sl500/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/10/04_inden_sl_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/inden-design-sl500/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/10/05_inden_sl_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/inden-design-sl500/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/10/06_inden_sl_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /> [Source: Inden]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/25/inden-design-gets-mercedes-benz-sl-500-to-go-deep-and-wide/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Inden Design gets Mercedes-Benz SL 500 to go "deep and wide"</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/25/inden-design-gets-mercedes-benz-sl-500-to-go-deep-and-wide/">Inden Design gets Mercedes-Benz SL 500 to go "deep and wide"</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Sun, 25 Oct 2009 11:28:00 EST. <div style="text-align: center;"><em><strong><small>Alpina B7 Bi-Turbo Long Wheelbase - Click above for high-res image gallery</small></strong></em></div>
<br /> The Alpina B7 Bi-Turbo long wheelbase revealed at the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/tag/Tokyo+Motor+Show/">Tokyo Motor Show</a> today doesn't add anything to the less well-endowed <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/03/04/geneva-2009-an-m7-by-any-other-name-2009-bmw-alpina-b7-bi-tur/">Alpina B7</a> we saw at Geneva except length, but isn't that enough? The double-turbo'd 4.4-liter V8 brings 507 romping horsepower and 516 lb-ft. of torque - all of which is enough to get the white whale to sixty in 4.8 seconds. <br /> <br /> Alpina's custom 21-inchers support an interior package touched up with the tuner's logo throughout. Our only cause for pause: the much larger steering wheel; the smaller diameter unit in the regular BMW helps to make the execu-barge a hoot to throw around a track. See it all for yourself in the gallery of high-res images below.<br /> <br /> <br /> <div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/tokyo-2009-alpina-b7-long-wheelbase/low/">Tokyo 2009: Alpina B7 Long Wheelbase</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/tokyo-2009-alpina-b7-long-wheelbase/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/10/01_b7_lwb_tokyo_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/tokyo-2009-alpina-b7-long-wheelbase/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/10/02_b7_lwb_tokyo_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/tokyo-2009-alpina-b7-long-wheelbase/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/10/03_b7_lwb_tokyo_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/tokyo-2009-alpina-b7-long-wheelbase/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/10/04_b7_lwb_tokyo_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/tokyo-2009-alpina-b7-long-wheelbase/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/10/05_b7_lwb_tokyo_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br /> <strong><em><font size="1">Photos copyright (C)2009 Jonathon Ramsey </font></em></strong><strong><em><font size="1"> / Weblogs, Inc.</font></em></strong><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/21/Alpina-B7-Bi-Turbo-LWB-Tokyo-2009/">Tokyo 2009: Alpina B7 Bi-Turbo LWB is longer, and therefore better</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 21 Oct 2009 15:40:00 EST. <br />
There are some images that don't fit into Newton's laws of physics. In nature, flying pigs and twinkle-toed Grizzly Bears come to mind. On the track, we can't think of many things more odd-looking than a drifting Smart ForTwo. After all, it's about as tall as it is long, and it's awfully narrow, too. It's like drifting a postal truck... only smaller... and less agile... and more prone to flipping on its side.<br />
<br />
That didn't stop one pioneering tuner from turning the ForTwo into the ultimate lunchbox drifter. The white Smart looks to be modded to the hilt with an overhauled powertrain ('Busa, anyone?), exhaust and larger wheels and tires. Those wheels are also pushed out by several inches as evidenced by the bulging wheel arches. <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/10/16/video-smart-car-drifting-not-only-possible-but-fun-to-watch/#continued">Hit the jump</a> to watch the video shot in Japan. The drifting of this one-of-a-kind Smart car won't make anyone think about <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/08/06/video-ken-block-and-travis-pastranas-stupid-human-tricks-roads/">Ken Block</a> or <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/05/05/rhys-millens-drift-car-finally-ready-to-run-with-hyundai-power/">Rhys Millen</a>, but this little two seater can sure get around the track, spitting flames in the process.<br />

<br />
As a testament to its range, the same company that brought you the evil blackness of the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/07/17/pics-video-mansory-vincero-costs-1-million-on-top-of-the/">Vincero</a> would like you to focus your attention here, on the Bentley Vitesse Rose. The full-on Mansory kit itself is fine. The pink-a-licious color its draped in, matched with the carbon fiber hood, is best digested before you eat solid food. And wait until you see the inside: a color combination we don't think you'll be seeing from the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/11/frankfurt-preview-bentley-continental-series-51/">Series 51 program</a> comprising diamond stitched pink and purple leather. <br />
<br />
Depending on your take, you might be gratified that Mansory only plans to build three of them. If you want to be one of those... proud... owners, then call Mansory and have a check ready for &euro;269,000. The rest of you can check out the roseate goodness in the high-res gallery below.<br />

Called the Steeda Edge Sport, it is claimed to be "the perfect answer to those that want to have it all." And by "all," the tuner apparently means an eight-piece body kit, brushed-look interior trim and cross-stitching on custom leather, smoked head- and taillight trim, and 22-inch polished aluminum wheels.<br /><br />Under those double-dubs lurk Brembo's six-piston Big Brake kit, and under the rear bumper you'll find a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust and a Steeda custom trailer hitch cover. Steeda has yet to release any power figures, but there figures to be a bump of some sort considering that under the hood resides a cold-air intake and cool-tube, a new throttle-body spacer, and an ECU tune. You can read the rest of the details in the press release after the jump.<br /><br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/steeda-edge-sport/low/">Steeda Edge Sport</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/steeda-edge-sport/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/08/01_steeda_edge_sport_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/steeda-edge-sport/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/08/02_steeda_edge_sport_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/steeda-edge-sport/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/08/03_steeda_edge_sport_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/steeda-edge-sport/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/08/04_steeda_edge_sport_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/steeda-edge-sport/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/08/05_steeda_edge_sport_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.steedaedge.com/news/">Steeda</a>]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/08/27/steeda-gets-all-tweaky-with-fords-edge/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Steeda gets all tweaky with Ford's Edge</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/08/27/steeda-gets-all-tweaky-with-fords-edge/">Steeda gets all tweaky with Ford's Edge</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Thu, 27 Aug 2009 16:00:00 EST. <br />
First, there was the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/06/02/details-and-pics-aplenty-gemballa-mirage-gt-carbon-edition/">Gemballa Mirage GT Carbon Edition</a>, soon followed by the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2007/10/04/gemballa-mirage-gt-gets-glitter-paint-job/">Gemballa Mirage GT Gold Edition</a>. And now, there's a third version that's just slightly different on the outside, but it's the one we'd buy if we had a spare Porsche Carrera GT, an extra $300k in an off-shore account and an economy that didn't put the kibosh on conspicuous consumption -- or we lived in Dubai. Behold, the Gemballa Mirage GT Matte Edition.<br />
<br />
It's everything that the other Mirage GT Editions boast -- 3.7-second 0-to-60, 208 mph top speed, 670 horses -- <em>but it's nasty</em>, as in Doom on Wheels, with nothing but silver accents over light-eating black paint. A shame about the blue-on-blue alcantara interior, though... You can check it out in the high-res gallery below, but please, don't make it angry. <br />

<div style="text-align: center;"><small style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">The Elite LMV/R -- Click above for high-res image gallery</small><br /></div>
<br />The <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2008/11/14/aston-martin-racing-reveals-new-vantage-gt4-to-replace-n24/">Aston Martin Vantage GT4</a> might be worthy on the track, but what if you want a lightened, hardened Vantage for the street, &agrave; la Lamborghini's Gallardo Superleggera and Ferrari's F430 Scuderia? Then you have Elite to thank for this, the LMV/R. The car is lightened with the use of carbon fiber body panels and interior kit, widened with bespoke fenders, and given a Galpin Motorsports-esque wheel and tuning treatement.<br /><br />They don't get any extra power, however. If it's any consolation, there will only be thirty of them - but each one will cost a fortune: $173,000 <span style="font-style: italic;">plus</span> the cost of a Vantage. You can read all about the Florida-built car after the jump, and check it out in the gallery of high-res photos below.<br /><br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/elite-aston-martin-vantage-lvm-r/low/">Elite Aston Martin Vantage LVM/R</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/elite-aston-martin-vantage-lvm-r/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/08/01_amv8_lvmr_elite_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/elite-aston-martin-vantage-lvm-r/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/08/02_amv8_lvmr_elite_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/elite-aston-martin-vantage-lvm-r/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/08/03_amv8_lvmr_elite_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.prostores.exotica-motorsports.com/stores/cart.php?target=product&amp;product_id=1685&amp;category_id=196">Exotica Motorsports</a>]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/08/05/elite-lmv-r-brings-the-heat-to-aston-martin/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Elite LMV-R brings the heat to Aston Martin</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/08/05/elite-lmv-r-brings-the-heat-to-aston-martin/">Elite LMV-R brings the heat to Aston Martin</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Wed, 05 Aug 2009 13:00:00 EST. <div align="center"><em><strong><small>The Mini Tec AWD Mini - Click above for high-res image gallery</small></strong></em><br /></div>
<br />If you want a chunky Mini CUV, you don't need to wait for the <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/07/16/bmw-trademarks-countryman-for-mini-crossover-name/">Mini Countryman</a> - you can have this Frankenstein'd love child of a vintage Mini and a Honda engine and all-wheel drive powertrain instead. The folks at Mini Tec have bolted a Honda B20 engine up front, and then they went and built a custom subframe to house all-wheel-drive gubbins blagged from a CR-V. <br /><br />The result is a stripped-out, widened Mini that rockets off the line and can even do tricks in the snow on Yokohama slicks. <br />High end tuner Fesler has created its own 2010 Fesler Moss Camaro; a tuned-up version of the hot-selling coupe that's been designed as an homage of sorts to General Motors' 1969 Bowtie. For about $55,000, you can get features like an adjustable coilover suspension, special 22-inch wheels and tires, as well as stainless steel struts. Bump the price up to $90k, and you'll get a supercharger that bumps the power quotient to an even 600 ponies. The fully loaded model stickers for a stout $150,000, and includes <a href="http://www.feslerbuilt.com/2010Packagesheet.htm">more equipment</a> than we can reasonably add here. Fesler is even offering a package that includes a matching 1969 model(!) if you've got the garage space and the financial wherewithal. <br /><br /><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/07/06/video-fesler-camaro-taking-shape-smoking-tires/">Hit the jump</a> to watch video of the supercharged version of the car in action. As you can probably guess on your own, the video includes burnouts and donuts. We wouldn't have it any other way.<br /><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.feslerbuilt.com/index.htm">Fesler</a>]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/07/06/fesler-camaro-taking-shape-smoking-tires-w-video/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Fesler Camaro taking shape, smoking tires [w/VIDEO]</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/07/06/fesler-camaro-taking-shape-smoking-tires-w-video/">Fesler Camaro taking shape, smoking tires [w/VIDEO]</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Mon, 06 Jul 2009 13:29:00 EST. The German outfit is marketing a new minimalist line of Irmscher 7 roadsters that begins with potent and peaks with outrageous. The basic, Lotus 7-esque naturally-aspirated model turns out 150 hp -- a healthy number when the car only weighs 1,650 pounds. On top of that are three turbocharged models fitted with Opel's 2.0-liter four-cylinder with outputs ranging from 210 to 284 hp, with the range-topper getting you to 60 mph in about four seconds.<br /><br />The Irmscher 7 comes with a waterproof top, a custom suspension and, for those wide of beam, Irmscher says the "broad, long chassis is suitable for larger drivers." But you'll need an equally wide bank account to get one: the 210 hp model retails for &euro;55,900 ($72,337 US), the price of the 284 hp beast is "<em>auf Anfrage</em>," which is German for "if you have to ask..."<br /><br />[Source: <a href="http://www.irmscher7.de/index.html">Irmscher</a> (<a href="http://translate.google.com/translate?prev=hp&amp;hl=en&amp;js=n&amp;u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.irmscher7.de%2Firmscher7.html&amp;sl=de&amp;tl=en">translated</a>)]<p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/04/23/fenders-optional-imscher-rocks-out-with-range-of-new-7s/">Fenders Optional: Irmscher rocks out with range of new 7s</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Thu, 23 Apr 2009 08:30:00 EST. <br />Novitec has long been regarded for their ability to produce streetable tuner Ferrari models with massive power and generally well-integrated aesthetic and aerodynamic modifications. And while this car, the Novitec TuLesto that see before you clearly has a lot of Ferrari 430 in it, this is a far more ambitious piece than what has come before it. Built in Bavaria by the German tuner, this mid-engined supercar is something of a celebratory affair, designed to mark the company's 20th anniversary. <br /><br />Just 11 examples are planned, each brandishing 777 horsepower - enough to push the slippery carbon-fiber and aluminum shape to 60 mph in 3.4 ticks before topping out at more than 350 kmh (217 mph). Power comes from a 4.4-liter four-valve V8 (.10-liter larger than that of Ferrari's 430) with a pair of superchargers strapped on to yield the aforementioned 777 hp (at 8,200 rpm), along with a peak torque figure of 536 pound-feet at 6,300 rpm. The sole transmission choice is a six-speed semi-automatic paddleshift setup.<br /><br />While probably a trackday monster, there is some streetability to the TuLesto, as well. The Luca Serafini Stile-designed front-end can be lifted four inches to accommodate speed bumps and aprons without incurring expensive scraping noise. Perhaps at full height you'll get a better look at the fully tweakable double-wishbone suspension, which includes adjustable dampers and swaybars.<br /><br />The available 20- or 21-inch wheels are sinister-looking Novitec pieces that strike us as a bit Lamborghini-inspired, not necessarily a bad thing, and they house a set of ceramic composite brakes hatted by six-piston fixed calipers. <br /><br />Funnily enough, our 20th celebrations weren't nearly as interesting as this. Happy Birthday, Novitec! Now... can we help you to <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/04/17/video-hyundai-pays-tribute-to-45-years-of-the-mustang/">blow out the candles</a>?<br /><br />Press release after the jump, high-res gallery below.<br /><br /><br /><div class="postgallery"><p><strong>Gallery: <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/novitec-tulesto-1/low/">Novitec TuLesto</a></strong></p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/novitec-tulesto-1/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/04/novitec-tulesto-pic01_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/novitec-tulesto-1/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/04/novitec-tulesto-stock-00_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/novitec-tulesto-1/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/04/novitec-tulesto-stock-01_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/novitec-tulesto-1/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/04/novitec-tulesto-stock-03_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/photos/novitec-tulesto-1/low/"><img src="http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2009/04/novitec-tulesto-stock-05_thumbnail.jpg" alt="" title="" /></a></div><br />[Source: Novitec]<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/04/17/novitec-gets-ambitious-builds-own-supercar/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>Novitec gets ambitious, builds "own" supercar, the TuLesto</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/04/17/novitec-gets-ambitious-builds-own-supercar/">Novitec gets ambitious, builds "own" supercar, the TuLesto</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Fri, 17 Apr 2009 10:27:00 EST. <br /> Anyone who has ever attended SEMA knows that tuning and scantily clad women go hand-in-hand. The cars + girls formula works very well in the US, but what about Europe? The 2009 Bodensee Tuning World auto show in Germany runs from April 30 through May 3, with over 250 exhibitors spanning 880,000 square feet of exhibit space. The show will have tons of sweet rides - and judging by the show's commercial, it'll have a few beautiful women as well.<br /><br />After the jump is 57 seconds of demographic-specific advertisement for Bodensee 2009. The commercial features three scantily clad women tuning a car and giving it a very thorough cleaning. If you're wondering if the spot is a bit racy, it took us four passes to realize that the women were working on a Ford Focus. Needless to say, the Bodensee commercial isn't for everyone, and some may be offended by its content (including your coworkers, significant others, small children, and assorted small mammals). For the rest of you, <a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/04/16/bodensee-tuning-world-auto-show-commercial-turns-up-the-heat-ns/">hit the jump</a> to see it for yourself.<p><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/04/16/bodensee-tuning-world-auto-show-commercial-turns-up-the-heat-ns/" rel="bookmark">Continue reading <em>VIDEO: Bodensee Tuning World auto show commercial turns up the heat (NSFW?)</em></a></p><p style="padding:5px;background:#ddd;border:1px solid #ccc;clear:both;"><a href="http://www.autoblog.com/2009/04/16/bodensee-tuning-world-auto-show-commercial-turns-up-the-heat-ns/">VIDEO: Bodensee Tuning World auto show commercial turns up the heat (NSFW?)</a> originally appeared on <a href="http://www.autoblog.com">Autoblog</a> on Thu, 16 Apr 2009 12:30:00 EST.
