Truth in Motion announcement trailer -- Click above to watch the video

Following last year's Truth in 24, Audi is turning its keen lenswork to the U.S. Ski Team with a documentary called Truth in Motion: The Road to Vancouver. With multiple subjects this time, and less about domination than revelation, the film will showcase the stories of team athletes as they prepare for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

It will air for the first time at the end of January, about two weeks before the Olympic cauldron is lit on February 12. You can read all about and check out the trailer after the jump.

With the 12 hours of Sebring right around the corner, all eyes are fixed on the 2009 ALMS season. The ultimate primer to ALMS, Audi's ground-breaking Truth in 24, airs on ESPN tomorrow at 8 pm EST and now we have the ultimate primer to the ALMS primer that is Truth in 24; a ten-minute interview with the NFL Flims team that made the documentary. The 24 hours of Le Mans is arguably the toughest, most famous race in the world. Audi has dominated the annual event since 2006 with its revolutionary, diesel powered R10. Truth in 24 (Autoblog review here) is the story of the 2008 race as seen from the pits of team Audi. The four-ringed automaker commissioned the visual masters at NFL Films to produce the documentary, and the resulting film is a must-see for anyone even remotely interested in racing.

ESPN is airing the brilliant documentary on Friday, March 20 as a kickoff to the ALMS season. The Friday airing of Truth in 24 is the perfect precursor to the world racing debut of Audi's new R15 at the 12 Hours of Sebring the next day. This documentary has fast become one of the best racing films of all time, and it's definitely worth your time. Thanks for the tip, Horst!

With most sports documentaries, you know how the story's going to end before you even sit down. That knowledge doesn't make Truth in 24 any less fascinating, dramatic, or exciting. The story of Audi's 2008 effort at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Truth in 24 provides a very rare glimpse behind the scenes as Audi Motorsport prepares for, competes in, and ultimately wins the world's most famous endurance race. Audi went to NFL Films to make the movie, and director Keith Crossrow has applied that outfit's uniquely compelling storytelling ability to motor racing -- a sport he was largely unfamiliar with by his own admission. The results, fortunately, make for one Hell of a watch.
