Toyota prepares a facelift for the European-market Avensis sedan and wagon, set to be revealed in full at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show early next month.
Toyota has pulled back the sheets on its 2012 Avensis here in Frankfurt, and we're a bit impressed with the shape of this sedan. The Avensis is essentially Europe's Camry, but under the skin, it's very different, as it actually rides on a platform it shares with the Scion tC. In this case, the new Avensis can be had in either sedan or wagon bodystyles.
Toyota is headed to the Frankfurt Motor Show next week with a stack of new and revised models, and chief among them is the company's next-generation Avensis. Built in the UK, the vehicle will feature a new front fascia that falls more in line with the rest of the Toyota clan. Likewise, the automaker says that the sedan's interior has also received a quick once-over and that we can expect to hear word on new drivetrain options as well.
