With Jay Leno's Garage coming to CNBC, the denim-clad comedian and Tim Allen reminisce about doing burnout battles on The Tonight Show in the '90s. Then, they decide to try it again in some modern muscle cars.
Jay Leno returns to hosting duties in his garage after spending a day with Jerry Seinfeld, welcoming fellow comedian Tim Allen and his homebrew 1968 Camaro 427 COPO to his garage. Allen says he got hooked on a green 1968 Camaro he used to see as a kid racing on Woodward in Michigan, but when it came time for his own he went beyond that original hero car.
Jay Leno might be the celebrity that's known for an impressive car collection, but there's no shortage of big names stars that enjoy picking up new rides. Tim Allen, star of Home Improvement, Toy Story, and Galaxy Quest is one of those celebs. Being a Detroiter, Allen's collection of muscle cars shouldn't be a huge surprise. As a result, you now have the opportunity to own a lightly-used 2006 Corvette Z06 with a legit celebrity connection for what amounts to fair market value. The car's basically stock save for its powder-coated wheels and has a "Buy It Now" option set at $60K. More interesting than the Z06, however, are some of the other cars in Tim's garage, as you can see above. The old Bronco's cool for sure. Ditto
