Three-wheeled vehicles are apparently back in vouge. Yesterday we told you that Morgan is reviving its classic Threewheeler, and now SEMA offers up a trike of its own. Talon Motors has unveiled its Invader, and we have to admit that the specs on it are pretty impressive. Much more so than Talon's last creation, the Street Quad.

Power for the Invader is provided in spades, thanks to a 1,300-cc Suzuki Hayabusa engine mated to a six-speed sequential transmission. The powertrain provides enough scoot to move this reverse trike from 0-60 miles per hour in under four seconds. Keep going and you'll eventually hit the top speed of 150 mph.

Those speeds require serious hardware to keep things safe, and the Invader delivers with a fully adjustable suspension setup. A set of cross-drilled Wilwood rotors and four-piston calipers quickly bring things back within legal limits.

Pricing for the standard Invader begins at $42,900, with a host of optional features being made available. Talon Motors isn't just stopping there however... the Invader builder has teamed up with former Van Halen front-man Sammy Hagar to produce a limited-edition signature series. The "Red Rocker" edition Invader will incorporate custom design elements created between Hagar and Talon Motors, and it will go on sale sometime in 2011.

Talon Performance creates a quad only a mother could love

Talon Performance is where "Innovation meets the street." That combination apparently yields results like the Talon Street Quad, a body-kitted 4-wheeler based on the Kawasaki KFX700. We think it looks like the innovation and the street got in a big argument, attacked a manatee with bats, and then threw paint on it. Then put it on wheels. Nice, rims, though...

Part quad, part Cars movie extra, part dada, the Talon Street Quad is supposedly street legal. We don't know where these streets are (in America), because quads have been shown the hand by all 50 states when it comes to road duty. Yet according to Talon, "you can even take it on your next road trip."

It'll also save you money at the pump, which is lately the god of all things. So if you want it, but you're not sure about that two-tone paint job, do not fear: you can get it in a single tone for "shear and simple beauty." Or you could just buy the Quadrazuma. eBay Find of the Day: The Talon Riot Control Vehicle from Top Gear

While much of the motoring public has been turning away from the brawny image of large SUVs, there are those among us (Texans?) who will always believe bigger is better. To those people, the Talon Riot Control Vehicle would be considered the best weapon for suburban warfare. It was featured once on Top Gear in which Richard Hammond demonstrated the armored vehicle's unique capabilities. Neighborhood kids dropping malatov cocktails on your front lawn? No problem, the Talon can be fitted with a water cannon to put out the flames and a grenade launcher to ensure those kids will learn their lesson. In its current state the Talon has been decommissioned and comes with those aggressive add-ons wound in bubble wrap and stored in the rear, though the seller says it can be refitted with them easily. The Talon can still, however, drive through a building, as the Hamster demonstrates in this video, and keep right on going. There's even a fridge and bathroom on board in case you battle with the spouse and need some place to crash. This isn't the first time the Talon has found its way on eBay. It appears that back in 2003 it was sold on the site for somewhere around $85,000. With only 19 hours left to go on the current auction and no reserve price in sight, this thing is going to be a steal at or around the current bid price of $10,000.
