Subaru plans to limit global production to around 1 million annual units, but the company has a lot of new product on the way, especially in the US. Expect to see a seven-seat CUV, a plug-in hybrid, and a second-generation BRZ in the coming years.
Subaru is giving the 2016 BRZ and WRX STI a new splash of color with the Series Hyper Blue editions coming this fall. They both wear contrasting, black trim on the outside and bring the cerulean hue for some portions of the interior, as well.
Japanese tuner Jun Auto has placed a 2.4-liter V8 based on two engines from a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R motorcycle into the engine bay of a Subaru BRZ. The mill makes 362 horsepower and revs past 10,000 rpm to sound absolutely wonderful.
