Buick begins airing Marisa Miller Enclave ad

Not long ago, Buick released the behind-the-scenes video of its Enclave commercial with Marisa Miller, and now the supermodel's 30-second spot has begun airing. Note: This is a spot for the current Enclave, not the refreshed 2013 model the debuted during April's New York Auto Show.

The Sports Illustrated staple and lingerie model might just be the first person ever to wear a swimsuit in a Buick ad. We could say more about it, but that would delay you from watching Ms. Miller and the Enclave in action. So just scroll down and check out the video, why don't you.

Lexus launches TORI 500 iPhone app racing game [w/video]

Apparently, being the Official Automotive Marketing partner of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit property was just the excuse Lexus needed to get in touch with swimsuit model Tori Praver. And we can hardly blame them.

But what could Praver's statuesque body and perfectly feminine features have to do with cars, you ask? That's a very good question, and it's one we're sure the Lexus marketing team spent hours considering. The answer, interestingly enough, is all in the curves.

Following up on the video Lexus brought us showing two racers drifting a 2013 Lexus GS F Sport around a makeshift track drawn around the gigantor-size body of Ms. Praver, the luxury wing of the Toyota conglomerate has delivered a video game of similar intent for Apple's ever-popular range of iDevices.

The TORI 500 racing app allows players to pilot GS sedans around digitized 3D renderings of Praver's body. Sounds... curvy. Check out the official press release after the break, where we've also reposted the video of Praver and the (real-life) racing drivers.

Ford's clever Sports Illustrated Swimsuit ad features phantom model

Capitalizing on the allure of attractive models for automotive advertising is anything but a recent phenomenon. Inventing a supermodel, on the other hand, is one of the more inspired tactics we've stumbled across in recent memory.

According to the marketing gurus at Adweek, Ford has placed a full-page advertisement in the 2012 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition that includes a beautiful blue Mustang posing alongside what appears to be an equally beautiful and scantily clad model named Dalena Henriques. A quick Google search on her name, not surprisingly, brings up dalenahenriques.com as the top result.

Here's where things get a bit tricky. It seems Dalena Henriques may not be a real person at all. A visit to her website shows the stunning brunette in pose after pose with the 2013 Mustang, and her face is never fully in the frame. The Mustang, though, is front and center in every single image. Clever, Ford. Very clever.

Nissan is teaming up with Sports Illustrated to highlight a few specific models - one made of sheetmetal and eight lovely ladies crafted from genetically-gifted moms and dads. The funky 2011 Juke is going head-to-head against models vying for a spot in this year's infamous SI Swimsuit issue.

This new series of advertisments showcases the attributes of both the Juke and a bikini-clad model named Amber. Acceleration, agility, aerodynamics and curb appeal are tested with less than shocking results.

The four spots are available for you to view after the jump, and be sure to check out SI.com/ModelSearch when it goes live later this evening to vote for your favorite swimsuit hopeful.

When we first got word that Harley-Davidson had a hot new model, little did we know they were referring to a supermodel. Marisa Miller may be known as the sexiest women on the planet for her work in Sports Illustrated and Victoria's Secret catalogs, and in light of her latest ad campaign with the Bar and Shield Company, we're not here to debate that. The girl just can't seem to get enough action - on her motorcycle, of course.

We have to hand it to the advertising execs in Milwaukee, they sure know how to combine all the right elements to pull at our ~~draw~~ heartstrings. Ms. Miller will be out urging the world to "Start Something" in this series dedicated to cutting out all of the typical reasons you have for not yet riding a motorcycle. We didn't need much encouragement, but if you do, Harley-Davidson has created a special ride guide and will even be giving away a few bikes to help those who are still on the fence. If you were wondering if Marisa ever put on a full set of proper riding gear... well, neither were we, however if you would like to see the behind-the-scenes video, just hit the jump.
