Ford has released its fourth Snowkhana video in time for the holidays, complete with miniaturized, seasonal Ken Block-style action... and Santa Claus drifting a Ford Focus RS in the snow.
The gift list for the 12 Days of Christmas is frightfully heavy on birds, so surely no one will mind if we sub out the three French hens for Snowkhana 3. Ford of Europe is back with another stop-motion video that – like versions one and two – throws a 1:64-scale Ford Fiesta in Ken Block livery around a fabulous world of action figures and make believe.
Last year around this time, Ford of Europe warmed our car-loving souls with the release of Snowkhana One. The pseudo-Block video placed a miniature Fiesta rally car, complete with Ken's livery, in a Gymkhana-style scene made up of toys. As you might have inferred, the very fact that it was named Snowkhana One and not simply Snowkhana implied that there'd be more, and one year later, that's exactly what the Blue Oval has bestowed upon us.
We haven't seen a Ken Block Gymkhana since the infamous Ford Fiesta assaulted the streets of San Francisco over the summer, but Ford of Europe wanted to make sure we weren't going through withdrawals. For our viewing pleasure, Ford's team from across the pond created the stop-motion Snowkhana One using a scaled-down version of Block's car, someone's garage and a lot of free time.
